Microchip Computers . Website: http://www.microchip.com.mt  • Description: A local computer company required a website as a showcase and to increase sales online. Products are displayed online with specifications and prices. PatCMS™ has been used to power the website and to create an administration area where the sales department can add / edit / remove products and manufacturers. Deca-Europe . Website: http://www.deca-europe.com  • Description: DECA - Developing European Citizenship and international Awareness throughout adult tourism and food preparation. A project partly financed by the European Union. The consortium required a CMS management area in order to exchange content. Website: http://www.thechildrenbookshop.com  • Description: The Children bookshop is an online e-commerce children bookshop using the PatCMS™ system together with shopping cart system. The website has been designed for children and allows users to browse books (mainly children) and purchase online. Sell Buy Stuff . Website: http://www.sellbuystuff.com  • Description: This website enables users to sell their 'stuff' online free of charge. Users can categorize items which are place for sale and they can indicate the location. This unique feature makes it easy for someone to find an item in the surrounding area thus reducing the delivery cost. The system is very simple to use and will be officially launched as from 1st January 2006 to cover a worldwide audience. Buying items from the website is also easy since once a potential buyer identifies the item, then a request is sent to the seller and they negotiate the delivery terms. MeDir-OP Online Directory . Website: http://www.capemalta.net/mama/wp1interface/  • Description: MeDir-Op (or Mediterranean Directory for Operational Oceanography) contains 11 maps which contain data regarding various Mediterranean Institutes and their projects (from 21 countries). Website: http://www.osbornecaterers.com/  • Description: Osborne Caterers are one of the leading catering companies in Malta, offering catering services to a large variety of activities such as Weddings. The website also contains information about their venues which are mainly used for activities. MeDir-OP Database . Website: http://capemalta.net/mama/wp1interface/dbase/  • Description: This database compliments the MeDir-OP Online Directory by providing an online database of all the Institutes and Projects. Internet users can browse through this data via an advanced search facility for Institutes and another one for Projects. Malta Blue Pages . Website: http://www.capemalta.net/bluepages/  • Description: The Malta Blue Pages online oceanographic database is a facility provided by the University of Malta. Marine data which dates back to 1940 had to be placed in an online database and retrieved by internet users via complex map searches (GIS). A parser was developed to convert this data into a file which is then uploaded in an online database via an administration area. Various tools to keep track of all these files were developed. Anyone who has published a thesis, dissertation or paper can publish the abstract free of charge on thesisabstracts.com via a simple online form.
